Release Notes for V19.16

Audience Builder

Rebuilding Audience Builder and Refreshing Profiles

To speed up the “Rebuild” Audience Builder process, we have separated the rebuild of the master profile from that of the child profiles. This can create situations where the child profile might be out of date or not have the most updated records. To allow users to address this, we have added a “Refresh Profile” option in the Rebuild OnQ UI.  When selected, this option will sync the Query driving the “child” profile with the master profile and refresh the available data for that profile. The timestamp at the top of Audience Builder will show the date of the last rebuild for that profile. This will allow the user to compare that date with the last build date of the master to determine if a “refresh” is necessary.  This separation has already returned an increase in speed of the Rebuild process.

Data Loader

Remove Header from Mapping

Users can now remove a header from a Data Loader mapping by clicking the garbage or trash icon to the left of the header name.

Excessive Error Detection in File Upload

When uploading a file to the Data Loader UI, a check is now in place to see how many records are in error. If 60% or more of the file contains errors, the file will be set to a new error status of “Excessive Errors” and then not continue processing.  If that file then fails when the user processes, the process even will not happen.

Allow 100% Email Match as a Processing Criterion

Users can now select the 100% email matching logic option when processing files through Data Loader UI.  This will match incoming records based on the email address being identical and no other criteria.

Mapping Newsletter Products

Building on the functionality of the Data Loader mappings, with this release users can map Newsletter products. When processing with this new mapping, Data Loader will create Newsletter product subscriptions.

Polling Indicator for Upload Status

To better help users see the status of an upload or file processing in Data Loader, we have added a polling indicator.  This will tell the user if the system is currently checking the status, or if it has finished polling the status of a job.

Change Terminology for “Omatch” and “Client Status”

Some of our internal terminology can be confusing to our users.  To alleviate confusion, we have changed the references to “Omatch” in the Data Loader UI to “Customer Matching Lookup”.  We also changed the “Client Status” field in the mapping steps to “Incoming Value”.

Open ‘Details’ from Menu Option

A new entry has been added to the Menu Options drop down in Data Loader.  Now users have the option to select “Toggle Details Pane” from the menu.  The ability to click the line to view the Details Pane still exists, we just created another path to the Details Pane.

Remove “Apply Template” Option

The Option to “Apply Template” has been removed from the UI.

Explicit Lookups Are Now Prioritized Higher than Customer Matching Lookup Results

Matching-Lookup results, such as name and address matches, were being prioritized before the Explicit Lookup(s) (such as customer id), this has been corrected so that Explicit Lookups are being prioritized higher, giving a more desired matching result.

Delete Excessive Errors

We have added the file Status of Excessive Errors to the list of status that can be deleted.  When a file is in excessive error status, that means nothing has been processed.  Deleting a file in this status would have no impact on the client database.

Dragon

Allow Behaviors to Be Conditionally Displayed in Form Builder

Behaviors can now be used in Form Builder (Dragon) conditionally without the use of Olytics.  This means that the behavior can be hidden on the form until the subscriber selects the desired criteria for the behavior to be shown.

General

Implement a System Status Page in the Portal

To help keep our users informed when issues or outages occur, we have developed a system status page in the portal.  If there is a reported issue or an important alert, you will see a red notice at the top of all Portal pages with a link to “Read More” about the details of the issue and its potential effect on users.

Integrations

Facebook Pixel Events (Target Traffic via Facebook Pixel Connection)

Facebook Events Manager is a tool within Facebook Business Manager that helps companies better advertise to Facebook users that have visited the company’s website(s).  This is done through use of the Facebook tracking pixel.  Our new integration allows Omeda CDP (Olytics) clients to target segments of that website traffic (Via Audience Builder Queries) and sync those targeted visitors to Facebook Events Manager for advertising purposes. In this way our CDP clients can target specific anonymous and known customers from their website with targeted ads on Facebook. For the full overview, explore our Facebook Event Manager Integration page.

Inline Personalization  – Add to Position Column

We have added the HTML ID’s used for Inline Personalizations to the ‘Position’ column in the search results.  This will easily allow a user to see where in the HTML the personalization is being shown.

Odyssey

Increase Timing on Wait Element to Allow for 180 Days

To accommodate users that wish to schedule Odyssey Voyages further in the future, we have updated the drop down to allow for scheduling the Wait time up to 180 days.

Reporting

Deployment Delivery Report for Odyssey

The Deployment Delivery Report in Odyssey has been updated to now include a link for the Heat Map and the Open Click Analyses.

New Email Leads Report

A new report called the Email Leads Report has been created to better display information from the Campaign Leads Report and the Newsletter Campaign Report.  This report will require authorization to run.  If you are interested in using this new report, please speak with your Audience Service Manager to have access granted.
